Privacy Policy

01Information we collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and avatar. We never receive — and cannot access — your Google password.
• Information you provide: the question you describe through the homepage need entry, the birth date, time, place and sex needed to cast a chart, and follow-up questions. When you use Dream Interpretation, this also includes the dream you describe, details added during the conversation, and the dream record organized from that material. After you sign in, homepage conversations are saved to your account; while signed out they remain temporary in the current tab and are synced after a successful sign-in.
• Context used for personalized dream interpretation: when you are signed in, personalization is enabled and you have not selected “interpret only this dream,” the service may select recent ordinary Daily notes and the minimum profile details needed for the interpretation. Your name, email and account identifier are not sent to the AI model for this purpose.
• Transaction information: payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers and payment credentials never pass through or get stored on our servers. We keep only your subscription status, plan type and order references, to provide membership services.
• Technical information: request-frequency counters kept for abuse prevention; the IP address of unauthenticated calls to certain features (used solely for rate limiting); and the session cookie required to keep you signed in.

02How we use information

We use the above information only to: generate charts and readings, conduct dream-interpretation conversations, organize or update dream records in Daily according to your settings, save history for review, recognize membership status, prevent automated abuse, and improve service quality.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

03Third-party services involved

To provide the service, the following third parties process certain data within their respective roles:

• Google: sign-in only (OAuth), governed by Google’s privacy policy.
• Stripe: payment and subscription processing, governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
• AI model providers: to understand a homepage request, generate a reading, or conduct a dream-interpretation conversation, your question, task-relevant details, chart data, conversation context and any recent Daily excerpts you have allowed us to use are sent to the model provider for inference. These requests carry no account identity such as your name, email or account identifier.
• Cloudflare: this site runs on Cloudflare’s global network, and site data is stored in its database services.

04Cookies

This site uses only two kinds of cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a functional cookie that remembers your language preference. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

05Data retention and deletion

• The homepage need entry keeps the 5 most recent account conversations per language so you can continue them; older conversations are removed automatically. Signed-out conversations remain temporary in the current tab for 30 minutes.
• Signed-in dream conversations and dream records are retained until you delete them. Deleting a dream conversation also deletes its associated dream record and Daily projection. Removing only the Daily projection does not delete the original conversation. Signed-out dream content remains temporary and is not written to your account or Daily.
• Free accounts keep the most recent report for each method, plus up to 3 saved reports that are never cleared automatically; anything older is deleted. Members’ reports are kept long-term.
• You can delete any reading in your account page at any time. Deletion is irreversible, and any share link for that report stops working immediately.
• To delete your account and all associated data, email contact@guanyitang.com; we will complete the request and confirm within 30 days.

06Report sharing

When you create a share link for a report, anyone holding the link can view its content (you may choose to hide the birth date). Share links only with people you trust. You can revoke sharing at any time, and the link stops working immediately.

07Data security

All transport is encrypted with HTTPS. Dream text, dream messages and dream records saved for signed-in users are encrypted at the application layer before they are written to the database. Share links and export credentials are cryptographically signed, and we collect and retain data on a minimization principle. Please understand that no Internet transmission is absolutely secure — if a security incident could affect your rights, we will notify you promptly.

08Minors

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if we become aware of such data, we will delete it as soon as possible.

09Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, or request a copy of it. Readings and dream conversations can be viewed and deleted from your account page. You may also turn off automatic dream recording to Daily or choose not to use recent notes for a particular dream. For other requests contact contact@guanyitang.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and highlight significant changes prominently on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
